Branners Posted January 2, 2010 Share Posted January 2, 2010 I have managed technical call centres and have seen many times where a call gets dropped back in to the system by mistake and there is no way to recover it. The person will sit there on hold potentially for ever and never get picked up. If I think that has happened to me I just hang up and phone back straight away to see what happens.
