Hi

Looking to remove my 2 cats, spoke to Top Gear in St Albans(by the way they did my Lotus Exhaust and it was fantastic!) they are saying they cant remove my first cat but they can break the inside of it and remove it that way, is that a good idea???? Second cat no problems. What I want is for a really deep low sound, will I get it from removing only one cat? Not worried about an MOT, By the way I have a HKS cat back system. Thanks

Gutting the first cat is common practice not dangerous though I don't know why they can't replace the pipe...my TT works fine now it has a fully decatted exhaust using replacement pipes.

Once de-catted an NA with a Super Drager will sound quite deep but still not TVR V8 deep....
