My Other Car

Class One

Recommended Posts

Just bought a Mazda 6 TS Estate 136 turbodiesel on a 53 plate to replace my Audi A4 TDi 110se which is now 5 years old with 136k on the clock.(family car.)

Got 4k on trade in so was quite chuffed, and pick the car up on Monday.

However, today my wife(can you guess what's coming??) scraped the front end whilst parking it on the drive. :complain: :swear: :swear: :swear:

Three years we've lived here and today she scrapes the front end. What am I to do?? I'm going to give Chips away a go to see if they can oblige this week as, the car has been accepted on the condition it was viewed at the other day "pre dink", I've paid a £500 non refundable deposit on the new car which i can't afford to lose, and if Chips away can't oblige i'm buggered.

Its the n/s/f bumber and a small bit of the wing, but i dont think some polish and a chip stick will sort it. We'll see tomorrow what can be sorted.

As youcan imagine the atmosphere in the house tonight has been somewhat tense!!!

Thanks Bobbeh,

spent along time deciding what to get and was torn between another saloon or delve into estate territory (well i am approaching 40! :p )

I really loved my Audi, a good motorway car, and driving as good as the day i got it but at 136k miles it was time to go. Toyed with a Volvo s60d5, another Audi a4 tdi (vv exey imo) but decided on th mazda after reading several positive write ups as a used buy. abd doing 25k a year commuting i needed a newer car.
