stevie_b
Underneath the centre tunnel plastic trim, near the handbrake, I've got 3 (count them, 3!) unconnected electrical plugs. Does anyone know what they should be connected to? I would have taken a photo, but I don't have a digital camera, so I'll use words: One is white, and is a single row of 4 terminals. Another is white, 2 rows of 3 terminals. Another is blue, 2 rows of 2 terminals. Thanks in advance! BTW I have a manual NA with very few toys if that makes a difference
Alex
They are for the Automatic transmission. Toyota use 1 loom for both types of car and just attach the connectors required.
JustGav
Hmmm.... They will be the cyclic connectors for the upper differential control on the permanent overdrive engagement cog. Or just spares
stevie_b
Thanks Alex, that's reassuring. Until I read your last bit, I thought "hmm, my car's secret past as an auto reveals itself!" Gav: just because it's Monday, doesn't mean you're allowed to baffle me with petrolhead speak! It's too easy to confuse me as it is!
