jackso11
Can you get these wheels with an offset of 35, or are they all 30? If anyone knows anywhere i can get a set with a better fitting offset than 30 please let me know, otherwise I will have to have my arches rolled
supspower
Fronts will be fine, if you run 255's on the back you shouldnt need to roll the arches just be careful going over bumps at speed!!
dandan
My fronts are 35 (8.5" wide with a 245 40 18) and the rears are 30 (9.5" wide with a 275 35 18). No arch rolling here but my suspension is pretty hard. When I change to CW's suspension setup I will likely need to roll/trim the rear arches. jackso11
when you trim arches, where do they actually trim? does the car look different from the outside or is it just the inside of the arch that is changed? Total novice when it comes to trimming/rolling arches.

Total novice when it comes to trimming/rolling arches. its just the inside lip... looks no different from the outside -and yes, I have the GTR's too and the lips needed trimming
jackso11
what happens to the inside lining? The plastic bit? does that not fit anymore or does it need modifying in some way?
supspower
To the best of my little knowledge.... Its the lip on the arches they either bend it back or cut it off slightly. There are possible side effects if it doesnt go 100% think some people have had the "50p" effect when rolled?? and also arches are prone to rust if the paint cracks while rolling, or where the lip has been trimmed...just treat with rust proof stuff. Best bet is to get them trimmed... to avoid damage to the shape of the arch Doent look different on the outside unless you get the arches flared.... LOGIE
is this normal for all 18" wheels?
jackso11
no, its notmal for an offset of 30. 35 and up and you don't need it doing. Upto 50 (which is standard).
miko_supra
Just ordered the tyres for my GTR's (265 on the rear) so should have them fitted on the car sometime next week. I will let you know how the fitment is.
