MLC Posted September 25, 2009 Share Posted September 25, 2009 In a nutshell it's looking like my hybrids (yeah i know) have finally let their seals go pending a few more checks this weekend. If they do indeed need replacing I'm siding towards new oem's but I'm not sure if they can cope with infrequent 1.2 bar boost, as i'm fully decated. Before anyone says it, definately no to going single, I get far too much use from the sequential system as a commuting daily driver. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

michael Posted September 25, 2009 Share Posted September 25, 2009 UKs are fine up to about 1.25 in my experience, beyond that they stop producing more power and just generate heat. 1.3+ (within reason) won't be too much of a problem as far as the mechanical aspects of the turbo go, there just isn't much point to it.
