shima60 Posted July 5, 2009 Share Posted July 5, 2009 As it was a niceish day today i thought i might aswell go out and get a few pics of the car also i'd like to say a big thanks to RoyBoy7 for the wheels there spot on and were packed extremely well. so here we go (i know i know its not a mkiv ) and just because i thought it would be an amusing shot let me know what you think p.s yes that is tape on my bumper lol it was from a fox that decided to run out onto the motorway poor little bugger. The HDR/tonemapping didn't need to be done in those shots because the dynamic range wasn't that bad to begin with. The only part of the image that would blow out was the back window, but it was still blown out in HDR anyway... Try just taking the one frame that was properly exposed (if you bracketed) and I think you'll prefer the result or at least crank up the overall exposure of the shot. shima60 Posted July 6, 2009 Author Share Posted July 6, 2009 the top image wasnt done in hdr the other 2 were. i did this just to give the clouds some colour. they were a little dull in a normally exposed image. supprisingly the tone mapping wasnt to aggressive it just looks that way. it was more just for the flashy (yea technical word) looks. i like the way they turned out normally i just go for high detail pictures but i couldnt resist. it made the picture stand out a little more. but thanks for the comments always nice to hear other opinions cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
