Bought this a few months back from a guy with a scooby with the intension of fitting it to my supe but never have the time and would rather have the money now.

Will put more details on later but the basics are...

12lbs nitrous tank, blue in perfect condition

tank fixing brackets

braided hoses

petrol and nitrous Solenoids (NoS branded)

all wiring

bottle jacket to keep at the correct temp

switches

basically its the full kit. Cost the guy before me £800, I bought it for £250.

I haven't done a thing with it so just want my money back, not looking to make a profit.

If there is no interest I will stick it on ebay.

I am in east london if anyone wants to pick it up you are more than welcome.

I was afraid of blowing my engine up so did a lot of research before buying this. The supra engine, even an NA like mine, can handle a lot more power than this will give so you will be fine. There are plenty of people on here who use NOS who will tell you that.

There are also plenty of people who don't use NOS and never have, who will tell you its a bad idea, but all my research pointed to it being fine.......and I have OCD when I have to know about something so believe me I did a lot of research! haha

I didn't tell them I might be fitting N2O. From what I gathered it is a minor increase due to the fact that it is only a boost in power and not a large modification.

They did a story on N2O on 5th gear a while ago and it didn't change the insurance at all, although it was on a golf which has pretty cheap insurance anyway.

To be honest, if you are going to mod your car performance at all I think NoS is the least of the insurance mods. i.e. changing a 300bhp car to a 500bhp car through engine mods is going to do a lot more damage to your wallet

There are very very few UK insurers who will cover a NOS fitted car.

When I got a few quotes from Compare the Meerkat there were several companies that would insure me with N2O and Cry02 fitted to what is already a heavily modified car.

I suppose the fact that I can still insure it as a classic with Carole Nash helps ;)

All the mods in my garage declared on the quote form and I can get fully comp for about £600.00 -£700.00 with 6 or 7 insurers on CTM.

Carole Nash is £550.00 with an agreed value!
