Fifty
Hi Wendy and I went last September to Holiday Island (Dhifushi?) http://www.cosmos-holidays.co.uk/destinations/Maldives/Maldives-Atolls/South-Ari-Atoll/Holiday-Island-Resort-and-Spa through direct line hols, package was with Cosmos and is a little cheaper direct from Cosmos. This included sea plane transfers, great fun, and half board. The island is very nice and quite undeveloped, nothing on it except the hotel, food was good. Snorkelling was pure magic, we went every day sometimes twice. very hot oh andwe did manage to swim with turles right in the lagoon!! There are many options to Maldives but this is the one we did. DanBEXsupra
i booked a holiday to kuredu island back in nov 2006, was a lovely island. its very commercial, prim and proper. was lovely weather blue water perfect golden sand, not much room for road trips though! would reccomend it if you just want to relax and have good food every night! (all inclusive is the best!)
JamesS
I had my honeymoon on Meeru Island a year ago. didn't have one single complaint, everything was perfect! Weather and the sea was great temperature. Food, drinks and waiters all great. Good excursions and facilities etc etc One of the bigger islands but it never felt like there were too many people on it, easy to get your own space but equally easy to chat to other couples in the relaxed bars. We were in a water villa out in the lagoon with steps from our room directly into the sea! It was great!! Also never wore any footwear at all from the moment we arrived on to the island until the moment we left, all bars and restaurants had sand floors! Highly recommended! Ark
Thudufushi about 4 years ago. Lovely. No point in going half board, because most islands don't have any facilities other than the resort...
