Wez Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 Just read through that, interesting. Although if you have a correctly controlled traditional wastegate I dont see what you will gain. The idea of electronic boost control is increase the cracking pressure as they call it and provide steady boost levels. I have the AEM and a mac valve controlling the boost, but I have a wastegate problem so thinking of changing from the old HKS60mm to something else. Wez Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 AEMs and MAC valves can work very well with the HKS GT60mm, I use to run that exact setup when I was AEM and still use the same MAC valve and wastegate with the Solaris ECU.
