Just read through that, interesting.

Although if you have a correctly controlled traditional wastegate I dont see what you will gain. The idea of electronic boost control is increase the cracking pressure as they call it and provide steady boost levels.

If you have no electronic control and are looking for a mechanical solution these could be a better solution.

Yeah seems interesting. I have the AEM and a mac valve controlling the boost, but I have a wastegate problem so thinking of changing from the old HKS60mm to something else. Not too badly priced either compared to a Tial 44mm.

AEMs and MAC valves can work very well with the HKS GT60mm, I use to run that exact setup when I was AEM and still use the same MAC valve and wastegate with the Solaris ECU.

Whats your issue?

Wont boost past wastegate spring, it's probably something simple but haven't had chance to take the wg off  Dude checked the pipework and it all looked okay, so need to pull the wg off and have a look :)

Terry was up couple of weekends ago and mentioned the Synapse wg's, so wondered if anyone had tried one :)
