Condensation gone ! removed headlight bulb and used hairdryer to dry out headlamp , took about 25mins , was well worth it. Thanks for the ideas everyone.

I've got this same problem on my drivers side headlight, I thought about using a hairdryer to evaporate the condensation, and after a quick search (yes some people actually do use the search button) and this confirms that, thanks.

Right It took me all of 20 minutes with the wifes hairdryer to clear the condensation, I refitted my light bulbs and rubber grommet seals and all was well for about an hour, so I'm thinking there was obviously still some moisture present.

Back out with the hairdryer tomorrow then.
