NeoFuture
thanks, im pleased with the result, the needles dont look it but they are trasparent but tinted blue, i was going to use paint on them, but realised how great a permentant marker was to recolour them rub down the needle surface with 180 grit then run down a permenant marker, colour of your choice, i over loaded it with serveral coats of pen, then polished it with a cotten cloth to get a good finish on them, you will find a bit of pink on the back too, so rub that down and colour that blue too

NeoFuture
the needles come apart nice and easy, so i just painted the caps in the same primer at the dials were done in, i did try running the pen up the cap of the needle but it didnt look "factory" it was hard to get a nice clean edge on the pen, so i reprepped the one i did and painted it white again, i think it works without the line on the cap ok

NeoFuture
nope they will be fine the needles are still transparent only tinted blue the dials have a vynal blue backing (with red bits and stuff where needed) so they will look exactly as they did before only blue

NeoFuture
found a way to defuse the LED`s http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v3760/19/41/611960534/n611960534_3042523_5293159.jpg i filed down the end of the LED a little, to make it flater and glued a tiny piece of tin foil on the LED it refracts better inside the case now
