super_supra
I have just purchased a pair of ihi rhx6 turbos for my big twin conversion everything is there that i need apart from oil feed and return pipe's. I can get this made no problem from a company i deal with at work but i am unsure of the internal pipe diameters that are needed to give the correct flow to the turbos has anybody any idea? super_supra
i have found that i need a dash 10 return and a dash 4 feed does this sound right? i also believe that the turbos i have are ballbearing so iam i right in thinking i need a restrictor in the feed line like this? http://www.aetturbosonline.com/catalog/ball-bearing-turbo-oil-feed-built-reducer-p-169.html
Chris Wilson
I agree with the above, see if the turbos have a built in restrictor in the oil inlet though.

I can't see any thing were the oil feed bolts at the botom of the hole there is two 2mm holes(rough guess) going to the front and back of the turbo to feed the bearings. How does the restrictor work is it purely reducing the size of the feed pipe? If so would it matter if there is an inbuild restrictor because it will still flow the same as long as the ristrictors have the same size hole, won't it?
