Branners
Remember last May bank holiday when the whole country was lashed by major storms? Well I was in Great Yarmouth with the family that weekend and watching the rain get blown up the windows of the hotel wasnt much fun. Now cast your mind back to the year before, the May bank holiday where the whole country was lashed by storms and floods? Well guess where I was for that weekend? Yes Great Yarmouth. So imagine my surpise to find the weather forecast for this weekend shows rain and wind for Great Yarmouth...and Im going there AGAIN with the family. So, cutting to the chase. Is there anybody that can recommend things to do with my family in or near Great Yarmouth? We have done the aquarium to death, and the old Victorian glass house place with the softplay, and the reptile exhibit, and the indoor crazy golf through the old theatre. So anything else local thats worth a go? leisure centre, Country Park, anything really...
RobD
Lived there upto a year ago, you've pretty much done the main things there ! Obviosly you've got the amusements, pleasure beach and shops but not that much fun if its raining, best to head 7 miles up the coast to lowestoft and have a look around there! Also in kessingland there is a wildlife park which is quite a good family day out! Or you can go down the a47 to norwich and look around there , got loads of things there ! bigcol
You could do break into my mother in laws house in lowestoft and rob it blind, leaving a rather large "george the third" on her white living room carpet, she wont be there cos we have to put up with the crabby old tw@t all weekend, so, not only will you make a few quid you will be doing me a huge favour because she will be that traumatised she wont fookin visit again;)
