Alex
Have you tried searching? If you have and drew a blank then it's... Silkolene Pro S 10w50 or Valvoline 5w50 that are most highly rated on here.
Dragonball
Good grief man - have you any idea how many posts there are on this subject? Check out the search button for about 30 pages! We use fully synth Racing 41 Royal Purple (40-10 equivalent) amd think it is brilliant - others think so too But there are many others using different - and very happily too

Dragonball
...really...want a poll on what people are using atm? The RP stuff is well reguarded but it's not as popular as the others. You said they were the most 'highly rated' - popular perhaps - but happy to bung you the specs over if interested Alex Doesn't matter really - at the end people will use what they want to use - with oil it's so subjective that really the choice is yours Just make sure it's changed often! Alex
Just make sure it's changed often! How often Paul? How long does the Royal Purple last? I know what the others will last for.
Dragonball
Surely this will depend on the engine spec and how the car is used? Well I will happily send you through the specs to see what you think - and you can tell me how they compare - and therefore, I assume, how much longer it should last under each condition ?
