I m am assembling a new engine for my car and was wondering if the valve lifters are a critical part to change or whether I can just use the old ones from my 110k kilometer engine??? SimonB Posted March 16, 2009 Share Posted March 16, 2009 You mean the buckets? They are reusable, the shims sit on top and take the wear.
