spartan
You know the bit - bolts onto the engine side of the inlet manifold and measures absolute pressure (little hose connected to it). Not sure if mine is working properly or not. No error codes reported but even when the engine isn't running, it's consistently reporting a vacuum of 0.35hkPa (bar or about -5psi) My mean intelligence suggests that it should be reading pretty close to zero (unless I'm living in the eye of a very big storm!). I think this is a pretty difficult component to test and also fairly expensive to buy new so does anyone out there have one they'd be willing to part with? Thanks! spartan
Got one now - thanks to Sean. Nothing wrong with my original (boost gauge not correctly calibrated) so now I have a spare!
