JamesF
My Dads struggling to get sensible insurance on the MX5 with me on it (mainly cos Im not 25 for another 10months) but Im currently driving a Supra in my name and have 3 years claim free driving... Anyone to recommend? Tried Adrian Flux, Aon, Sky, a few more. The MX5 he's looking at is a UK car. Cheers!

PeteA
I had an import for a while, I was with AA for the first year, 21, 2yrs NCB I think I paid about £800 possibly even TPF&T Then they tried to double it at renewal time (couldnt give me a reason why), and went with adrian flux on a limited milage policy as I had a company car by then. That was about £800 again, but with no NCB as was being used on the company car. I dont know what it is about MX5s that makes them so expensive to insure, but you should be better of with a UK car. I miss mine when the suns out:taped:
