Tricky-Ricky
Just wondering where and how you have your satnav mounted in your Supra? and any recommendations you might have for hardware etc:)
MrRalphMan
I used my PDA, I now use my HTC Touch HD to run TT or my own apps. All it has is a generic PDA holder attached via a suction cup to the screen. Works for me.
2JG
I have mine stuck to the lower right corner of the windscreen below my a-pillar gauge pod. That was it doesn't obstruct my view when driving
jamesmark
Why not fit it, if you like it keep it there. If you don't, move till you do find a position you like (simples).
Guest Garfy
I have mine screwed to the R/H dash panel, just below the electric mirror switch, works pretty well down there
Rob
Why not fit it, if you like it keep it there. If you don't, move till you do find a position you like (simples). Likes that idea. What ever you do don't stick it dead centre of the screen with a wire hanging down like 90% of the sat-navs I see, especially those using the daylight settings in the darkness of the night. Animal
I have a Road Angel and I couldn't get the damn suction cup to stick anywhere on my screen so I ended up screwing the clip on the back of the holder to the top of the dash above the ODO panel. Tricky-Ricky
Thanks for the feedback guys, its a TomTom 520Go and i have already been moving it about, i like to have it in my line of vision to my left, low on the screen, BUT the std mount is way too short. Which is one of the reasons i asked about hardware/mounts as in order for me to reach it it needs to be about 6" closer. I guess i could use a sticky pad on the dash for the mount, but i have heard they don't stick to well, and i don't really want to screw it on:(
AlexJames
I have mine mounted in front of the speedo lol.. why u ask, cause its easy where I can see it, and I can set the tom tom to show my speed.. more accurate too
Tricky-Ricky
Thought of that one but a little too low for my taste, besides my KS3 knock sensor lives there.
