w41k3r Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 Hey all ive been looking at manifolds for my n\a and just wondering ive seen the decats that bolt to half of the oem manifold, would it gives similar performance as a s\s manifold and what would turn out to be cheaper, also where can i get one and a second decat pipe from and is the 2nd decat pipe for the tt the same as an n\a. Dazzi Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 The oem style decat is expensive, but so is finding a stainless manifold that fits! 2nd decats can be bought from traders on here. Nic Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 The second cat/decat pipe is the same on the NA and TT. The decat pipe will not make much of a difference power wise. A tubular manifold should give you around 8-12hp increase. Both increase the noise level of the exhaust. I can supply decat pipes and manifolds.
