Suspension Geo Sorted

Well i've been WiM'd today www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/ :D

After a number of threads about Wheels in Motion I thought I'd give them a visit.

When I arrived I was asked what handling problems I was experiencing . My problems were:

- Front inside tyre wear

- Tendency to tramline

After the car was set up on the ramps the guys invited me out from the nice warm waiting area to show me what was what, and to describe what they would be doing. I was told with the current settings they weren't suprised to hear that it was tramlining. It was very informative and professional.

I then retreated to the warmth to leave them to it. Once they'd finished I was then shown the results and again explained what had been done

After the suspension was done I then had some nice new Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics fitted to replace the worn fronts. I then braved the cold again to watch the all singing all dancing automatic tyre machine in action - very impressive it was to.

Considering the weather I've certainly not had a chance to push it on the way back, but I can instantly tell that the road manners are much improved. I didn't experience any hint of tramlining, result :)

It's a shame I don't live a bit nearer as one of the Japanese Performance mags was due to visit for a write up today, but I needed to head home otherwise I'd of stayed.

Overall I was extremely happy with the work done and would recommend them to anyone.

Just need some nice dry days to have a play :eyebrows:

Cheers,

James
