caseys
A software update went out last night crippling some users planners. Helpdesk are talking people through a fix, article on it here : http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/11/24/sky_plus_bug/ I have a Sky HD box, was working fine at 1am today, but will check it when I get home later. Does anyone else's box dial-home at 6am sometimes? Damn box wakes me up when it turns on... sky in the bedroom sometimes has it's annoyances! Mike
I used my this morning to watch a bit more of Survivors while eating my breakfast, and it seemed fine.
jamesmark
Will find out tonight. On a side note though, I wish they will update it so that it shows a "confirmation" command when you want to delete things off your planner? Sarah deletes so many things belonging to me as she gets impatient with the remote.
ellis
Yeah, my Sky HD box froze twice over the weekend. Whenever it does that I just unplug it for 30 secs or so and it boots OK after that.

caseys
Mine don't because none of them (we have three) are plugged into a phone line. I thought occasionally it had to report home? Or is the phone line purely there for pay per view?
Mike
I've never had any of mine plugged into a phone line... I think it's for when it dials up when you play games and the like? edit : PPV works without it.
