Ian C
Justin, you said: "While we are on the subject of electrical faults, the "green ring" around the drivers door lock is permanently lit , this causes the battery to flatten after about 3 days. Can anyone suggest a fix ? " I'm looking at various circuit diagrams trying to sort my prob out, I'll have a look see if there is anything obvious for this as well. A couple of questions: Is it illuminated from the moment you connect the battery to when you disconnect it again? If not, when does it illuminate? Is it lit when the engine is running? The lights are on? Are there any other symptoms - overhead door lights always being on but you have manually switched them off, that sort of thing? -Ian
Guest Mycroft
If you have a Japspec and central locking with a 'plipper', switch the 'system' off and hey presto the light goes out! The switch to disable the central locking is under the dash in the drivers footwell on the Soarer, gawd alone knows where it is on the Supra! Syed Shah
Is this on the ignition, or the one on the keyhole?
Ian C
Keyhole? I spotted references to that on the circuit diagrams, but I guess j-spec doesn't have such niceties I beleive it's the illuminated ring around the ignition keyhole. I'll have to wait for Justin to get back to me with that info before I'm sure though! -Ian
