RiceRocket
What about the Cayman Islands and Caribbean, has any one got any experience of these in January/February ? Weather in the Caribbean - Enjoy the warm and sunny tropical winters The Caribbean sees a minimal temperature variation from season to season, due to the steady northeastern trade winds that hit the islands, with the average temperatures ranging from 24C between January and February, and 29C in July and August. A winter holiday in the Caribbean sees pleasant temperatures and dry sunny days, with excessively high temperatures and humidity cooled by coastal breezes. Summers are notoriously hot and wet, with hurricane season running from June to November, with most occurring during the month of September. Temperatures in the summer can reach up to 32C on the islands of Jamaica and Trinidad.

lust2luv
Southern Florida should still be lovely in January - maybe rent a villa in Fort Myers/Naples area, or stay in Miami if you want more to do.
bigbloodyturbo
wouldn't go to the canary's over winter time if you want sun, its hit or miss, my sister works for barclays over there and she always says the weather is sh!t in winter, sometimes when i'm over i need to put a fleece on in the evenings its that cold. Brilliant in the summer but not great in winter, and not a shithole as someone else said, canarian people are very nice.

ivan
Lanzarote. We've just got back from a week there and the weather was great. Hire a car and get round to see the island. Plenty to keep you busy for a couple of weeks. Don't let her on the camels though.
