Steviekid
I'm looking at getting a Blu-ray writer, specifically the LG H20L as it seems to get good reviews and is a sensible price. The only thing that concerns me is one review claiming it won't work with motherboards that have an nVidia chipset (which mine has). I've also had real trouble in the past getting DVD drives to work, especially a SATA one where my PC wouldn't even start up with with it installed. Has anyone had much experience of these yet particularily with nVidia based systems?
Pete
I wouldn't bother given the price of the media still. I've not read up on them much for this reason but it wouldn't surprise me to find all sorts of issues like this.
snoot
I'm currently using an LG H20L Blu-ray burner on a Asus Striker 2 Extreme mobo, which has an nForce 7 ultra chipset and there's no problems at all. Media prices are still pretty high but you can find Verbatims for around £7.50 each online.

There's loads of disks on ebay around half that price if you buy 10 of them.
