ADL Mark
Hi Guys, My girlfriend has been driving me around a bit lately and when sitting in the passenger seat and gazing in the mirror I've noticed that my passenger door has dropped a bit. Where it meets the rear panel of the car it's probably about 5mm lower than it should be, as if the top hinge has dropped a bit. I've done a search but can't find and definitive information on how to adjust it, can the hinges be adjusted or something similar? Cheers for any help! Mark. Tricky-Ricky
AFAIR Mark, both sides of the hinge are adjustable, IE one side handles vertical adjustment, and the other horizontal, its just a bit of a pain to do, tip don't fully slacken the bolts and only do one plane at a time. ADL Mark
Had another look and not sure it's going to be easy to adjust. Where the door meets the front wing it looks straight and matches up all the way, it's only towards the back that it's out of line. I think adjusting the hinges might make the back look better but the front look out of line.. Not sure, suppose I'll just have to have a go.
