michael
A friend of mine is trying to convince me to go but it's all looks a bit "grunty". What do you want to do? Booze it up? Fine dining? Look at old paintings? Buy a pair of shoes?

probrox
Been a while since I was there. I like rock/indie/metal music and we used to go to Basement on thursday night (very cheap), Leeds MET on friday night and Cockpit on Saturday night. Was always working everyday so not sure about daytime activities. Probably all changed since I was there anyway.

michael
Since its me that wants to go to the festival, im guesing the one in charge will be wanting to do shoe shopping Well that side of things isn't difficult to achieve, plenty of shopping choice. If you want to go out on the other nights then you might want to look at: http://www.thecockpit.co.uk http://rios-leeds.com http://www.thesubculture.co.uk/site/home.aspx The Uni has a club / bar that stays away from the usual dance / r&b stuff too I believe. http://www.itchyleeds.co.uk might be of interest. Charlotte
I went here http://www.thehificlub.co.uk/ for a night with some friends recently, it was very cool. May not be your music but everyone needs a chillax every now and again.

My most expensive round ever was there, think it cost me £40 for five Vodkas and three cans of redbull. Loved the atmosphere though.
