patrik
hello, i have just removed a unit that converts KMH to MPH since i live in sweden i had to unconvert it :-) But for someone in the uk it could be essential i suppose so its a unknown make but was working perfectly when removed. it says CK-UN-09 on it and the wire instructions is glued on the little device since i dont know what these things are worth i suggest open bidding in the thread. the bid is to be without P&P from sweden (would think that it would be around 5£). Guest morganl7
I may need one of these as I'm having my car delimited next week. Let me speak to my garage and I'll get back to you.

It might not be a delimiter, it could just be a speedo convertor. You can buy both items seperately, and at a greater overall cost.

Thanks for the advice. I bought the car with the delimiter (didn't realise this was illegal? Or someone told me???) The clocks are also still in Km/hr yet gauge my speed in m/hr - hence clocks only reach 110 m/hr so need new clocks too.

A delimiter isn't illegal in this country, whoever told you that was talking bobbins. It's a legal requirement in Japan to have a 180kph (112mph) limiter fitted. Do you mean the full range of your speedo is 0->100? If so, you're right, you'll need a replacement 0->180 speedo face to go in top place of that to read sensibly once a convertor is fitted. patrik
I think the car is still limited but from past experiance the limiter kicks in about between 200-180 KM/H so if this is not a delimiting device the car then runs to 200-180 MPH before cutting off more than enough for most people i reckon :-). about your clocks these usually go to 180 KM/H so you just stick an MPH sticker over the KMH letters and install this and you have an accurate clock and at least 180MPh to play with.
