bondango
many many moons ago, i done the 3sge NA-T conversion i.e. slapped a turbo on a modified 3sge, it was the 1st in UK and well documented around the net on the celica forums - or the mailing llists as they were known back then lol The car also ran a t3/4 with additional injection and a lot of other old skool mods along with a 60 shot of NOS, It was ran at the pod and york on several occasions (with the GT4OC) - Qucker than most GT4's due to the gearing and weight difference, but te big bg Problem was Traction.. http://memimage.cardomain.com/member_images/8/web/2072000-2072999/2072925_1_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.com/member_images/8/web/2072000-2072999/2072925_9_full.jpg To transplant a 3s-gte in if going that route, you will need Engine, lloom, ECU, MR2 tubby gearbox/flywheel/clutch, mr2 tubby inner drive shafts, gt4 outters, gt4 struts/brakes, radiator, Intercooler etc etc

Why does the 3S-GE box not mate up to the 3S-GTE box??
bondango
Its been a long time from ive done this stuff, but IIRC you can use the 3sge gearbox, the only thing different is the input shaft. To make this work you must use the clutch Disc from the 3sge, and the Pressure plate (and flywheel) from the 3S-GTE. The strongest option is the mr2 tubby gearbox/clutch/flywheel and The Reason behind mix-matcing the mr2 turbo and gt4 driveshafts is you will get the correct length from hub to drive. For strength this is your best option Second, would be the Gearbox from a v6 camry if you can find one.
