UltraFlynn Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 According to the model differences document the manual SZ and SZ-R come fitted with a 6-speed gearbox. Is this really the case? I'm certain I've heard of 96 onwards cars having a 5-speed manual box fitted. Does anyone know whether the NA 6-speed is the same unit as the TT 6-speed? Scooter Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 Its the same getrag V161 type. There are some facelift NA manuals with 5 speeds and some facelift NA manuals with 6 speeds. The 6 speed ones have a LSD as standard too and a NON electric drivers side seat, and are SZ-R models the 5 speeds are 'just' SZ models. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
