RX8 question...

I think you better check the Mazda rotary club, I had a few questions about RX8 and RX7s and they came up with many good answers, Im actually thinking of getting of the two as a daily drive :) but still not sure which to go for!

a rx7 as a daily drive would cost you a bomb. There is a v.good reason you hardly see them on the road. They are cheap to buy but v. pricey to run (even if nothing goes wrong!).

 

I remember the guy who sold me mine said to me when I suggested I wanted to take it on a road trip to Scotland,

 

"you better remortgage your house if you plan on doing that".

 

I thought it was a bad joke. After 2 months of ownership I realised it wasnt that bad a joke

I wouldnt say a rx7 is a good daily driver either, far from it!

Well i have been on the rx8 owners club, and its seems that as long as they are looked after properly and the oil is checked reguarly, then you dont have many problems.

 

 

The one i am lookign at, has only had one owner, and full service mazda history.

rx8 engines are fine til 60k ish! i owned one from new and got rid last year! It was round 55k, when it went! a little better than an rx7!

 

Also been in the a turbo rx8 - Blue one think the guys name was alex (chinese lad) it was alot of fun! 300bhp in a really fun car! good but not supra good!!
