My fist day at Audi...

Hi all, well...i left A.W.E on Friday at 10.00 after signing off and giving my pass and car pass back which was a nice bonus...:D

So, i got to Colbournes Audi in Basingstoke at 8.00 in the morning and when i first got in, guess what was staring at me??

A black Audi R8 for sale at £91,995! Bargain, frankly!

I was with my manager until 1.00pm because thats when we all finish on a saturday, i was trying to learn all the computer systems which i will have to deal with,

and was trying to get to grips with productive marketing which i will be undertaking in the near future too...:)

My manager gave me 2 pieces of good news, when i first got to work, i commented on the brand new Audi TT 3.2 quattro, and he said "have you ever driven one of those"?

Obviously, i said no, so he said..."well, im sure we can sort that out"...Cool...:D

And the best bit is when he said about my training, i will have to go away on business twice next month, one for my Health and Safety training and the other,

i will be going to GERMANY to have my induction training and i will get to visit the factory also so i can see all the new Audi's coming out! :D

Im thinking...Audi R8 V10...:innocent:

Also when i go to Germany next month, my flight, accomodation is all paid for...its only my very first day, but i already love it there lol...:D

Thanks Si, yep i made the right move me thinks..:D

I got the job by chance, i was so p*ssed off with my last job so i phoned around and luckily got an interview with Audi straight away!

I think my knowledge of cars and my BTEC diploma in motorsport engineering helped me i think lol...:D

I saw on the news the other day that Audi are paying graduates 42K!!!! They said that they flog them to death for it, but bloody hell that's a lot of money to be paying some kid straight out of uni!

£42k?! What bloody job in Audi is that?? :D

I'll get there but im looking at 3 -4 years until i earn that sort of money! :(

They didn't say which job it was, it was an item discussing how employees are approaching universities with regards to taking on graduates.

I'll see if I can find a link on t'web.

Yeh please as it would be interesting to know what job that the graduates go into...

As for me, im going to do it the harrrdddd way lol...:D

Oh btw, nice to see you today Heckler...:D ;)

Good news, i might have to go up Camberly for a week for training so i might see you up there lol...:D

As i said to you on the phone mate, the RS6 is mental, for such a big car, the way it handles and the way it accelerates is just simply amazing!

Hopfully, i'll get the RS6 for a demo car to drive around in a couple of weeks...:eyebrows:

I havnt had a go in the R8 yet but im sure that time will come my friend...:D
