low spoiler and MOT

Hi,

my car is booked in for the MOT for the first time since it was transformed. It is now considerably lowered and has a Whifbitz front bumper and side skirts and also a 3 inch exhaust so ground clearance is only about 4 or 5 inches. I am worried that when they drive it into the rollers for testing the brakes that it will bottom out or damage the bumper, skirts or exhaust.

Does anyone know if the MOT centre has an obligation to test lowered cars in a different way. After all how do they test Lambos and other supercars which are seriously low?

they can road test it instead, they normally do that for 4wd cars.

They used to be able to test the braking in the carpark area (a good excuse for them to drive your high powered or modified car) but at our centers it is now all computerised from start to finish so I dont know if they can bypass the system.
