I now work for siemens and we look after the BBC however i am on the finance team.. I was meant to be second line, but due to needing staff i got put on this new project, Was told sap training was involved so i was like yes please! any way been there since august still had no training,

Here's a sample from the helpdesk today:

 

User can't login to his lotus notes. User receieves an erro message saying "The remote server is not a known PCP/ forward / inda papa". User is using his laptop to logon

 

Filler is papirjamning. And needs cleaning. It is urgent that this is working because they needs to get some stof out this week

 

User have got her windoes password reset to default today agian. Because she had truble loggin on.

When she have entered her new password she get's an error message :

ERROR : Windoes can not connet to domaine either becqause the domaien controller

is down otherways unavailbel or because computeraccount was not found. Please try agqain later.

 

Asked her to check the cabels. She checked and there was nothing sitting lose.

The PC that she is using is not used every day.

 

And these are fairly good compared with some of the others.

not sure what ors or tig is we used to be know as medas, then xansa now we are steria, there all seperate companys except im employed by siemens but working in steria for the bbc

 

I hate it i would do any thing to get out.. still waiting back on this motorsport training.

I have worked in 2 large company I.T. Departments in my time and both were a fapping mess. The structure was all wrong, sh*t software, awful management.

 

The management are never I.T. Orientated are they? I always find they get plucked from other departments in business's, whats that all about?

 

I lasted just over a year @ the first year large company and walked out on my probation short of three months @ the other. I would never work for a large company again.

a guy came in from what i presumed was my it dept, and he was asking my boss if he had a kettle lead.

So you are aware of what an IEC-C13 power lead looks like then?
