MONKEYmark
Is a UK lsd diff a torsen?? because if it is you better still be use to one wheel burnouts, I was not a happy chappy last Sunday . I cant afford a TRD lsd so it looks like I'm going to weld one up .mines also fine too. the uk cars come as standard with lsd diff. guy who fitted mine said it needed modding to get it to fit jap car. was slightly bigger by about 1" if i remember. i can leave 2 dirty black lines of rubber and no more 1 wheel burnouts. makes a difference over the non lsd diff i had on before. can do propper controlled donuts. it is an improvement having one seems a good thing to have. chris wilson told me you can weld a diff up but it is no good for corners. dude
Me thinks you could be right looking at those pics, Its defintley a torsen diff due to the fins on the underside of the carrier. the open diffs don't have that. Paul you cannot tell the difference between open and slipper diffs unless you open em up , there are no numbers , all the big diffs are slippers but not so with the smaller casing .
