paul mac Posted March 9, 2008 Share Posted March 9, 2008 Michel, top service by the sound of it, i run a BL box and Rob took me out in his about a month ago and the shifts just did not seem right compared to mine, this could explain things, when i got my box one thing that did not impress me with BL was the fact that all the open conections were not blanked leaving the potential for contamination to get into the gearbox and also i had the sump pan off as the one they supplied was a bit battered (not their fault if it was supplied to them like that) so swapped it with my old one, it was not to the standard of cleanliness i would expect once inside with a few bits and bobs of old gasket material etc. Saying all this my box has done about 10k miles faultlessly so i cant grumble to much. I think if you could replicate what BL do you would not become a millionaire over night but you could offer a UK service to us auto boys and i for one would rather keep my hard earned in this country than wiring it to uncle sam with all the associated hassles of shipping from the States, keep us informed on delevopments with your "ML" autobox.
