It's 'supposed' to be less BHP but more torque. People have found the BHP is about the same IRL though.

 

The drag terminals seem to back this up too. I pointed this out to TDi who insisted j-specs only make 276 @ fly, funnily enough he didn't answer after that.

320 bhp is stock i believe.

 

apparantly the Japs listed the jspec at 275bhp for some legal reasons, but they are all 320 bhp stock.... (so i've read!)

 

yeah there was that gentlemans agreement in japan to not go over 280bhp. i didnt realize they just lied about it though:p

335 ft lbs for a stock car? and 275 rwhp for an auto? That was 10 more than my manual and the autos suffer greater drive train loss.

 

Your figures just seem to high to me to be accurate... and trust me I'm not just saying that because you had larger numbers than mine. :) I think its an SRR difference with the measuring compared to G-Forces even though they use the same Dyno.

 

Have you been on any other Dynos?
