So, no emery clothing work first?

 

nope, although i did start to do that before the bench grinder came along, that really is a looooooooooooooot of work, at leat 100 times the effort of using a grinder.

 

I do use however a B&D finger sander to make light work of casting marks on things like teh turbo pipes, and for the battery clamp and rad clamps due to the black finish on these and being a harder material.
