CJ
1) I went into the forest and I got it. When I got it I looked for it, but couldn't find it, so I brought it home in my hand. 2) Born long ago, but made yesterday. and only employed when others sleep. What few would wish to give away, But none would wish forever to keep. 3) I went to Boston and stopped there, and I never went there, and I came home again. Once again, if you know the answer (or look up the site) please wait until a few have answered.

Digsy
I had a lovely lay-in. Feeling much better today Bah, couldn't you find any physics ones? Spoliers in the following text: I've looked these up on the web. Looks like number 2 has been re-written a few times. The word "Born" is a bit misleading. Two other versions I found use "Formed" or "Framed" instead. The biggest (and most straightforward) clue is in the first and second lines. It gets a bit arty-farty and irrelevant after that (probbaly because it was written by a poet). Number 1 is the most straightforward to get, or at least the one where everything in the riddle actually leads to the answer. Number 3 of OK if you ignore the "and I came home again" bit. CJ
And the answers are: 1 - A splinter 2 - A bed 3 - A watch TBH, I though the bed answer was a bit spurious but the other 2 were fine.
