Big Mark
When I first drive my car from cold most of the time the engine will 'stutter' with anything other than very gentle acceleration. but after about 20 seconds of driving it will be fine. Also when the engine is still cold I can see the revs flickering at idle if I drive off and get stuck in traffic or lights. Just for a split second the revs continuously drop 200 or so rpm and then comes back to normal straight away. When this happens I actually feel a thump. Again this goes away once the engine is a bit warmer and we are on the move. Any ideas, as other than this little problem I am loving the car? Big Mark
Yep. I had it all checked out and was given the all clear about the subframe. That noise was not the suspension but the rear brake discs. I borrowed a mates garage, stripped them down, removed the rust from the discs, put it all back together, adjusted the handbrake and all is now perfect. With the wheels not sitting right? (the gap I showed you when you bought it), there was about at least 2cm difference.
Big Mark
Wheels sit fine, car drives fine. The garage and I have had the car up in the air loads of times and there is no problems.
