SILKYSMOOTH
I am at my girlfriends now (doin her another favour) waiting for an electrical technician to come round and change all the electrics while she goes to work, so I had to stay here last night...I hate leaving my supra at hers, I have only done it 3-4 times since I bought the car. There is never any parking and it's full of dodgy drivers and I always fear the car getting hit or scratched, so I am up at the window every 5 minutes to check it, so stayed up until about 3.30am before I finally said goodnight to my supra. So last night, as usual no parking, had to be left in the street and also had to wake up at 6.30am this morning just to move it otherwise I would have got a ticket. Pain in the back side! Anyway, as I get closer to the car I check it over to make sure it's okay, and to my amazement, once again my luck (bad luck that is) just gets better. I notice a few scratches on my rear passenger arch and it looks like either someone has tried to park their car next to mine and scraped it or maybe someone drove past too close and scuffed it slightly. Man, I don't ******* believe it. So now I'm bored, sitting here waiting for a technician to come round anytime from 9-2pm, with my supra still outside and I just want to get it back to my house now and clean it up to see the scratches properly, as it's been raining and I can't see it very well, I'm hoping that it will come out with a wax and polish. I hate swearing, but f***** a*sholes who ever did it. I wish I saw them do it... I have an idea but unfortunately no proof...so now i'm bored and still waiting for this guy to turn up.... sorry....just wanted to get that off my chest
Multics
Good luck with the electrics. I know the feeling mate, since I got the supra I'm sweating everytime I have to leave it somewhere. My gf currently lives in Streatham, south London, I've never left the supra down there and probably never will... The other day I got my valve caps stolen, car was at a west london 1.60 per 15min car park. Shame...
Guigsy
i have to park my car on the road outide my house every day. thankfully as its 1 way and even with cars parked each side there is still plenty of room to get 2 cars down it if someone double parks. But i see people reverse into other cars out there all the time. Just glad i dont have my fibreglass bodykit any more. My valve caps on my old car on the new wheels lasted about a month surprisingly. ive invested in some of the ones you need a key to get off otherwise they outsides just spins. They are still there
SILKYSMOOTH
Once again, I get grief for doing other people favours....the car is usually garaged every night and the only time I leave it down here I get so wound up, and don't usually sleep at all..The electrics can go to hell....there is nothing wrong with them, they are just doing an upgrade. This is one of the reasons why I am selling it, but if someone doesn't buy it soon, it's gonna get more damage....may just have to leave it in the garage and make a decision....the girlfriend or the car? The car is more reliable, costs less to maintain, and treats me better, I better not say better looking, just in case!
SupraGirlie
You could get that clifford add-on that sends you a text everytime your dual zone proximity sensor goes off? I also can't stand to leave my car parked on a dodgy road, I parked in a town centre whilst I went clubing and came back to find my tyre slashed! Luckily I had taken my mums jag and not the supra! I have a CAT 1 Alarm and immobiliser but not a clifford unfortunately.....I was thinking of getting internal/external video cameras and just let it run and record. keancy
I found a Stone chip on my "REAR" bumper a minute ago. I mean wtf how did I get that?? How can I have possibly flicked a stone against the middle section bit of my own rear bumper?? Surely it must have got flicked up by a passing car, no?? Grrrrrrrrrrrr
Marco
Tell me about parking on roads and public parking lots! Damn, I've got to park in a big parking lot at work. The amount of dents and scratches I've had to endure the last 5 years are incredible! GRR My supra got vandalised so badly one day she had to be taking away on the back of a truck to get it repaired in a garage. And than I got it back out of the garage almost worse than it went in! Fecking cowboys! AARRG (had to get that off my chest... *deep breath* carry on)

SILKYSMOOTH
Thanks guys & gals for making the time go quicker earlier, I was soooooo bored waiting. Looks like the damage is quite minimul and fingers crossed most of it should come out with a Tcut, Wax and polish, at least it's not dented. Thats so funny, I have had those moments... This is my 3rd/4th minor incident in the last 9 month, including today. None of them my direct fault and I knew that each time there was risk. 3-4 weeks ago chipped a 'cm of paint off my spoiler on the garage door right in the centre. Touched it up for now. It was Mint a month ago, it's gonna start losing it's silkysmoothness if this keeps happening.
