Which turbo shall i go for, i've explored more or less the potential of my turbo, i want to go bigger, shall i change the manifold to full racing? and which new turbo is good these days?, has to be DBB and good for just over 900. Preferably nothing much more laggier than a 360 thrust Sp71.

Thanks

you need to look at the engine first before investing in a new turbo. I suggest a 74mm DBB turbo , i have one and it spools better then the sp71 gts that i had and produces more power low end. The sp71 was designed for high boost applications hence the billet wheel. You can achive 800+rwhp on a 74 if you go further the saxo in front has just killed you of the lights. Its a combination of drivability you have to look for, i have been in a car that had 1200hp and it was awesome on motorway but the head reved to 9000rpm, but around town it was one of the worst cars i have driven off boost.

My thoughts are anything above 74mm i would not touchdue to lag. I suggest you try down sizing, then the entire power curve is shifted, this will give you so much fun and will feel faster then a big turbo. try hks t04z or 71dbb / 67dbb /gt4088r .81ar

So SP74DBB sounds like a good option, the top bottom of my engine is fully built but not the lower bottom, im not looking for 2bar boost at the moment, im between 1.5 - 1.7 has been fine for many years. Engine is very strong. I wouldn't think a 76 is suitable, i think like Michael said it will be very laggy off the lights. I want something that spools faster than my current turbo but can produce more power (my rev limiter is 8,2K).
