MV8
Anyone recommend where to buy a BPU kit from? Saw one on ebay worh £490 delivered. Is that a decent price? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290179778696&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=019 Also i thought that if a turbo didnt have much back pressure it wouldnt perform aswell as if it did have some? Wouldnt totally decatting it make it perform worser then if it had say one cat taken off and the other left on?
Scott
Your thinking of non-turbo cars with regards to the back pressure, i think. scott =op
JamesC
Seems like a decent price. The Envy boys are members on here and have a good reputation. ENVY

Sheefa
Thanks guys. Anyone who would fit all that for a dcent price? I dont wanna get mugged! lol Take it i dont need anything else other then a boost controller right? Oh and should i get a autobox cooler? Anyone recommend a good one for me? :-) Is your's a J-spec or UK? For J-spec you'd need Two Decat Pipes (Chris Wilson, Whifbitz of Envy), a Restrictor Ring (recommend a 1bar one from CW), a new Fuel Pump (Walbro from Envy), Colder Grade Spark Plugs (again ask Envy) A Boost Gauge to monitor levels or a BC to up the boost above 1bar (again check Envy) and I'd seriously recommend an Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) gauge to monitor fuelling rich or lean - a good one is Innovative or AEM. All available from Envy me thinks. Autobox coolers are worthwhile in the summer and if you plan on doing a few track days, but otherwise not really needed. You typically have to have one if you plan on fitting a FMIC though like the Greddy 2-row. Costs for going all in on BPU including parts and labour are around £1,000, more if you want a decen Exhaust System i.e. Boostlogic. As for people who could do the work, I would recommend Chris Wilson or Envy. Both excellent traders, great wealth of knowledge and expertise and a fair price too.....which is nice.
