Human-animal hybrids.

I studied this stuff at university. Like most unusual or weird things, if you educate yourself and understand what's going on, it's nothing to be afraid of. Bring it on.

 

Don't me get wrong, stem cell research is something I do agree with, however I do worry about borrow genetics from other species.

I do agree, but some species of animals are able to re-grow limbs/tails.

 

Just imagine the military style applications of this... Human kameleons (spelling), the list goes on :D

Dr Stephen Minger and colleagues at King's College London want to create hybrids to study diseases known to have genetic causes - such as Alzheimer's disease, spinal muscular atrophy and Parkinson's disease.

 

"Minger"? Surely nobody's called Minger?!?!?! :D :D :D

Perhaps the massive infection resistance of crocodiles, now that would be handy. That'd sort out all those lazy day sickies people keep pulling ;)

 

It'd be one way for the govt to stop worrying about MRSA!! :D
