Jake Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 It'll mean very little to you at this moment in time but pretty much everyone I know who has been made redundant has gone on to bigger and better things - hope the same applies to you I was gutted when I was made redundant in 2005, after 16 years with the same company. But after taking a year off (and living off my redundancy payout) I got a contract job for almost double what I was on before. Anyway, what I'm saying is - at the time redundancy seemed like the end of the world but looking back now it was the best thing to happen to me for years.
