The first wave that looks just like white water took him alone and by time second one came over 2 secs later he was gone. Someone has just forwarded the email to the whole business and I'd like to make them aware of the truth - I've seen the news link posted above so realise he's been reunited with his dad, I just wondered what the Snopes input was....
