Shadow Beast
For everyone requiring an update in the Elmo case: - Unfortunately, Barrister Sheffield is considering declining in this case and has made the following statement “I may have to decline this case, emotional turmoil is just too great, especially after Elmo’s last paragraph”. For your information Elmo’s last paragraph i: - “I have noticed on telly recently a lot of RSPCA adverts and it seems a though it is the right time of the year to abandon your pets so it could even have been my owners setting me up in order to get rid of me”. This has come as a great shock to Elmo and a disappointment to Richard and me. Elmo’s emotional state at present is very low and the prison wardens are suggesting that he be placed on the suicide wing for 24 hour surveillance. I am hoping that you will all assist us in adding your names to a petition in the hope of Barrister Sheffield reinstating this case. My biggest concern is finding another high profile barrister that specialises in canine cases with such a good background as Barrister Sheffield clearly has. He even comes recommended by Turner and Hooch. ELMO PETITION Elmo Richard Jenny

Shadow Beast
We have been consulting the big book of K9 law and on Section 47 (1.2) it states that if a petition contains 10 or more individual names original Counsel has to re-instate the case!!!!!!!! There is hope for poor Elmo
Guest Suprascarlet
Elmo Richard Jenny Lynsey Andy DannyB Jefferson Rich Marion Ann Come on Rob.....you cant let this poor dog down, he needs all the help he can get!!. If the worst comes to the worst, perhaps Elmo might consider contacting the "Ruff Justice" programme. I believe the BBC have pulled the plug on this recently but I am sure even they could be persuaded to add their weight to the case. Elmo, take heart, the truth will out eventually and the real culprit brought to justice.

Shadow Beast
Due to no communication from barrister Sheffield sadly Elmo will have to represent himself. We can confirm that Elmo has been moved back to the normal prison wing which is only a category C prison so life is not too bad for Elmo at present. Elmo’s trial has been listed at K9 Crown Court on the 5th of February 2008 when the trial will commence. We can confirm that the CPS has served new evidence on the defence by way of a further statement taken from Shakira the snowleopard cat that lives in the upper quarters of the house. She is stating that she heard whispering coming from the kitchen on the night in question which was followed by loud ripping noises that she states must have come from both dogs. In light of this new evidence a further police interview will be arranged so that Thorn can be questioned further. Witness statement from Shakira below: -
Guest dangerousandy
Hmm, interesting. Elmo should be in a D-cat prison (nothing to do with killing moggies or exhausts)
