standardsupra20
Ok here go's, I've got a n/a single turbo conversion with a six speed manual gearbox. I want to fit a twin turbo engine & then get Ryan to provide an ecu & map it etc. My question is, can I simply fit the replacement engine? Will the manifolds from the old n/a engine fit the replacement unit? Will the gearbox, clutch etc fit ok? What about electrics & air con? Please help, I can't decide whether to stick (350bhp) or twist (poss 600bhp) Cheers in anticipation, Keef.
SupraHuman
Your manifolds will not fit.And you will need a new ECU and wireing loom..Gearbox and clutch should fit straight on but you will need to upgrade the clutch if you plan to run 600hp. miko_supra
all your electrics will be fine as will he the a/c (take the old a/c pump off of the old n/a engine leaving all the hoses attached to it and then hook that up to the TT engine when you come to fit it. this saves re gassing it. have you checked my n/a-tt thread it might help you
Scooter
I know someone who would be interested in the NA-T engine currently in the car if you are selling to fund the swap?
