Eau rouge possibly the best part of Spa, the circuit is actually in the middle of nowhere so not many places to stay around there so expect a journey to the circuit

I was just looking at La Source, and that looks good also, gonna take a drive around on my PS2, already booked accommodation and as you say its miles away (around 50k).

You want to sit at Raidillon. I was lucky enough (?) to be sat there when Jaques Villeneuve bottomed out through Eau Rouge and crashed at Raidillon during qualifying in 1999 Apparently he got back to the pits, and the BAR team sent out Zonta with the same suspension settings, and he did exactly the same thing. (Quelle Suprise!)

You'll be amazed at how steep Eau Rouge is. It's steeper than Paddock Hill at Brands, which is bloody steep when you're driving it.

La Source is also good, but difficult to get to, because every one goes there. The bus stop also used to be good, but is a bit rubbish now.

The top of the hill at the left hander just after Rivage is also good, because you can see the cars for quite a bit as they come out of Rivage through turn 10 (I think it is) and then down through Pouhon.

Also Les Combes is usually good for a couple of offs, so might be worth spending a session there.

Wherever you sit though, you'll have a great time as it's a brilliant circuit!

I nearly went to last year's Belguim GP. They offer a bronze, silver and gold ticket passes. They entitle you to various views of the track ranging from crap to excellent.

Raddilion would be my preference as you can see them coming down from La Source down the hill over the GT car grid line up and through OuRouge and then through Raddilion and along the straight. (Depends if you get an early seat)

A lot cheaper than equivalent tickets to the British GP by the way !!

Bloody hell Tony, I was there that year and standing at the top of the hill right where he crashed. Remember the car helicoptering at 150+ into the tyres, he jumped out, shook his shoulders and legged it back to the pits.

It's a small world isn't it!

We had a factory trip there as we'd come 1st and 2nd the year before. They gave us all general admission tickets so we were hunting around for the best places to sit.

It was a hell of a crash. Apparently when Zonta did the same a couple of minutes after they re-opened the track JV just laughed.
