CJ
I got back into Kos last night after a 16 day visit to the UK. Unfortunately, my internet access was very limited and so I didn't get a chance to wish everyone a merry Christmas and so this is a very belated message hoping you all had a great time. CJ
Thanks guys Managed to get a lend of a car so that was good but failed to get a house sale completed whilst there. Should get sorted within 2 weeks off the New year though. Had a major shock when getting to Gatwick. Had to take a train from there to Cardiff and they charged me £81 single ticket - standard class! I was gutted. In saying that, all in all it was a great visit. Managed to spend loads of time with my sons - and that really was worth every penny of the trip. CJ
Merry Xmas Colin... Glad to be back to warmer climes? Well, mixed feelings really. I hate saying goodbye to my sons but after eating my lunch sitting outside this afternoon - wearing just shorts and tee shirt, it is starting to feel easier. Just worked that out to about £65 for return in the Supe. No wonder public transport's selling so well.
CJ
Just worked that out to about £65 for return in the Supe. No wonder public transport's selling so well. And that single journey started at 16.06 and ended at 19.35 (included a change at Reading). I am sure the Supe would have been quicker as well as cheaper! CJ
Happy new year Colin, did you manage the trip to Elland road? I did indeed my friend. Me and the boys went up on the 22nd to watch us against Bristol Rovers. It wasn't a classic but it was a win I was staying at Wales and so it was a 4 hour drive up and back but it would have felt a lot longer had we lost
